Dr. Williams attended the University of Maryland College Park as an undergraduate majoring in biology. After graduation from college and before entering medical school, Michael was a
Track and Field Coach at his old high school. Michael then entered Howard University College of Medicine in Washington,D.C. where he earned his M.D. degree. In Medical School Michael was awarded the
Trent C. Davis HUMAA Scholarship. Michael's volunteer work in medical school included being the team leader for Batey Relief Fund/Project Medishare which was a medical mission to the Dominican Republic and
Haiti. Michael's interests outside of medicine include backpacking, running, swimming, cycling and basketball.
