Naja Thomas, MD
Dr. Thomas attended Howard University in Washington, DC as an undergraduate majoring in biology. She went on to obtain a graduate degree in Maternal and Child Health from Tulane University. Naja's love
for learning continued as she went on to receive her MD degree from Howard University College of Medicine. During medical school Dr. Thomas was a delegate to the 2004 National Convention of the Student
National Medical Association and developed curriculum for freshman studies at the university. She was also active in several honorary and professional societies including the Phi Sigma Phi National Honor
Fraternity, Beta Kappa Chi National Scientific Honor Society, Golden Key National Honor Society and the American Public Health Association. Additionally, Dr. Thomas received the Howard University Scholarship
and the Howard University Trustee Scholarships. Naja's interest in medicine is her true passion as she aspires to become a 'vehicle of change' in the community in which she lives.
