JOHN SHELTON, M.D.
John received his medical training at Bowman Gray School of Medicine. His residency training was
completed at University of Florida - Alachua Family Medicine Residency training program. John was in private practice for six years and prior to this he was in an emergency medicine practice. His role
in the residency program is that of an Associate Director and the Sports Medicine Fellowship Director. John received his CAQ in Sports Medicine in 1995. His professional
interests include sports medicine, ETT, and minor surgery. His outside interests include bicycling, hiking, boating, and parenting.
