ED PREVATTE, M.D.
Ed received his medical education at the University of South Florida School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at
Halifax Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program. Ed was in a private practice in Flagler County, Florida for ten years before joining the faculty at HMC FPRP. Ed has been an Associate Director and
the Director of the Family Health Center since 1999. In October of 2004 he assumed the role of Program Directer replacing Raul Zimmerman who has become the first full-time Director of Hospice of
Volusia/Flagler. Ed's professional interests include: obstetrics, procedural medicine with a focus on colposcopy and LEEP. Ed's outside interests include: tennis, boating, hiking, motorcycling,
scuba diving, community banking and parenting.
