Karla McNish, MD
Karla McNish, MD attended Florida Atlantic University as an undergraduate double majoring in chemistry and biology. Dr. McNish went on to receive her MD degree from Morehouse School of Medicine. At the age of eight, she knew she
would become a doctor. No stranger to hard work, there were times Dr. McNish worked three jobs while attending school full time. During medical school, she was an active member of many associations including the
American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family and the Phi Beta Kappa and Golden Key Honor Societies. She also found time to volunteer as a counselor for a mental health adolescent center and during
the 2006 Work AIDS day in Atlanta. Born in St. Andrew, Jamaica, Dr. McNish enjoys outside interests in cooking, reading, writing poetry, and is an avid collector of books and dolls.
