Ted Anthony Farrar, MD
Dr. Ted Anthony Farrar comes to Halifax from the Iroquois Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky where he has been a family physician for the past six years. Ted
received his undergraduate degree University of Louisville majoring in biology and went on to receive his MD degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr. Farrar completed his residency at
the Dayton Community Family Practice Residency in Ohio. He has served as associate faculty with the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Louisville. Dr. Farrar's passion for
sports medicine finds him immersed in community service as the team physician for the Fairdale High School athletic department since 1999. Active in numerous professional associations and the recipient of the
Excellence in Resident Education Award 2005 by the Department of Family and Geriatric Medicine we are proud to welcome Dr. Farrar and his family to the Halifax Medical Center as the tenth Sports Medicine Fellow.
