Erika Faile, M.D.
Dr. Faile attended the University of Florida as an undergraduate majoring in physical therapy. While an undergrad, Erika received many scholarships including The Disney World Scholar
providing full tuition and books for all four years of undergraduate studies. She also participated in mission trips to Haiti and Peru. Before entering medical school, Erika worked as a licensed physical
therapist both in Florida and West Virginia. Dr. Faile then went on to receive her MD degree from Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia. In medical school, Erika was an
active volunteer member of the Admissions Committee, Academic Standards Committee and was the Vice President of the Christian Medical Association during her second year of medical school. During her time at
Marshall University, Erika spent several weeks here at Halifax Medical Center as a medical student. Erika enjoys spending her time with her husband, John, while they garden, play basketball, swim and ride
bikes. Her other interests include shopping with her sisters, traveling and attending bible studies..
